    I would suspect that Leica Camera, USA should be able to change the rangefinder and the camera would not need to go back to Solms.

    Found out recently that DAG can do it...but I won't do it right away. I'll be too busy saving up for lenses.
    No idea what's going to happen next, but I'm hoping it involves being wrist deep in chemicals come the weekend.

    which inflation calculator did you use? westegg.com says $2389.48. not *that* bad. then again, i know zilch about investing...
