If you are in the market for a new Leica MP...

This looked rather tidy. It is just about the price of a "regular" MP but has a cleaner viewfinder arrangement (35-50-90) that is not offered on Leica's website. If you are OK with the top deck, this looks like a nice functional camera. No relation, of course.

Actually, the Dead Sea scrolls do refer to the 35-50-90 frameline combo, but no mention of black and chrome. That notion does not appear until the fifth century! I think to duplicate it on the Leica site would be around $5000 and you still would not have them nifty framelines.

an extremely beautiful camera,by the time you add the lens you are in ultra large format territory, price wise.although i would bet a million dollars that in range finder circles that this would be wanted more.some day i hope to own a leica, but i better have won that million dollar bet.

"remove the preview lever. This means that the fingertips of the left hand have no obstruction and are more sensitive to the internal mechanism of the camera." what kind of voodoo crap is this?

The Leica fetishists always make me laugh.

Vulcanite leather is an oxymoron as far as I am concerned.

If I had the cash, I'd rather have a new Mamiya 7ii.

The strap is nice. If anyone has one, it would look good on my Contax G.
