Default Canvas, documentaire "The genius of photography"
Kijkend in de TV-gids viel mijn oog hier op:

do 8 mei, 22:00, Canvas (je weet wel, voorheen VRT2, voorheen BRT2):
"The Genius of Photography", deel 1 van 6. Documentaireserie over fotografie, vandaag van de camera obscura tot WO I. En ik neem aan vervolgens iedere week een volgend deel.

Geen flauw idee of het iets is, maar ik ga zeker even kijken (of, ook analoog: de videorecorder laten kijken), en het leek me iets om -al is het redelijk last-minute- hier ook even te melden. Doe er al dan niet je voordeel mee.

Het is iets zag ik in de gauwigheid en dus heb ik het maar alvast getaped.
Kijk later wel als het weer weer minder wordt.

Ondanks het mooie weer en meesnorrende video heb ik meteen gekeken. Ik vond het zeker de moeite waard. Ik kreeg spontaan zin om eens een daguerreotype te proberen...

Daguerrotypes worden ontwikkeld met kwikdampen.
Niet echt mijn ding.

Ja, ik lees het ook net... daar pas ik voor. Tintypes dan misschien? En veel meer vrije tijd?

Lees eens iets over Ambrotype. Lijkt me beter te doen.
