Last two sheets of iron to go on, forgot the sarking. Did for the last two sheets, lifted the roof today and place the sarking under. This to help with condensation. Barge caps in place. Door jambs in. Door only arrived at 16.00 today, will hang tomorrow. Then it will be locked up. Can start on interior. Batts in the wall. Plumbing and finish power. Then fit interior linings. Still hoping for ANZAC weekend.

We ended up with about 60mm of rain. Felt nice hearing it on the tin roof. 11K tanks are chockers. Power roughed in and checked by the sparky, All walls are now clad. One J box to go in then the ceilings. 2 Fluro's for lighting. 2 x 2 safe lights. So I can run two different colour safe lights and have two on (there are 4 in total.) A small viewing light over the trough/tray area. This will also help when coating salt paper. 8 Power points and a 20 amp feed to the processor area. Speaker (5.1) FM and sat TV and FTA TV. Working on ducted vents with a fan in the baffle at floor level. By using AC duct I can place a couple of 90 degree bends and make it light tight. An in line fan with vents over the two sink areas. Fully insulated, got my mate Garrett to fit the batts for me????????????. A painter mate is coming over to have a look and has offered to paint it for me. Another mate is looking at some stainless benches and sinks for me. Will have 3 x 3 m for wet area. Trying for stainless throughout this area with laminex ply over cupboards above the sink area. I have worked out a rack for my glass and plastic measures. Will start on the ceiling in the next day or so. Once done paint.in and out, coat the floor. Then benches, equipment and FUN...........

Very impressive, Pat. My darkroom is about 1 metre by 1.7 metres, so it would fit into yours quite a few times.

2 coats of white on the walls and ceiling. Final coat Monday. Acid etch the floor then coat with BASF master top 1080. This is a great coating available in many colours. It is chemical resistant and seals the floor nicely. Get them CD ply for the cupboards on Wednesday. Still planning for ANZAC weekend finish. Will post pics Monday.
