I heard that they are abandoning stink-jet printers. That would be a positive move.
I heard that they are getting rid of printers and now film! Whats left for them? Maybe they can go back to making military weapons..
I think the key part is "to extend until February 28, 2013, its exclusive right to file a plan of reorganization". That's 5 months away to 'D Day'.
I sincerely hopes that it works for them. I think that the US will lose an important part of our legacy if Kodak goes away. I hope that Kodak can find a future.
I no longer beleve a word they say, they can tell me when they've done it, "the road to hell is paved with good intentions".
But they haven't had good intentions for quite some time, have they? So they're not exactly going to hell...

They are trying to sell off the marketing and distribution of film while they'd continue to manufacture it. That's quite a different things.
