Thanks for coming out of hiding. We promise not to make you design any websites...

The first stop on that Saturday will be the City Market. It's been an active marketplace for 150 years.

These days, there is a Saturday Farmer's Market with some incredible photo ops of fruit & veggie stands, livestock, old bldgs and people/product of many ethnic origins.

Bring model releases if you plan to use any of the photos commercially. Bring some color film along if you have it. I'll have some RVP50 in the SLR ready to go.

Unfortunately I won't be able to make it this weekend. I forgot this was the weekend I have some friends coming in from Denver. I'll definitely have to catch up with you guys next time you're out. I'm always up for a beer and some shooting! Have fun guys!

Chris, I time warped in my brain. The shoot is a week from this Saturday, on the 23rd not the 16th. Sorry for extending my confusion. Must have been one of those near-senior things. :confused:

Oops, I got it stuck in my head that it was this weekend as well. Maybe I'll be able to make it after all! I'd love to hit the West Bottoms. Lots of good stuff down there. There's some interesting characters, especially with the haunted houses open.

Hey, no problem. BTW, I think AARP allows members as young as 50. I'm looking forward to it also...

If you did happen to be in town this weekend, there is an air show at the downtown airport. If you like photographing machines, there will be some spectacular ones available.

I don't know if it will be possible to shoot LF as there are military assets present and they might see your 8x10 and tripod as a security threat.:confused:

One last bump before the weekend.

Saturday should be perfect for shooting (mid to upper 60's.) Partly cloudy with storm clouds clearing throughout the day should make for nice diffused lighting and dramatic skies. :cool:
