The Barrier Islands of Georgia are a photographer's paradise. Jekyll Island is quite expensive, but in nearby Brunswick or St. Simon's Island (15 minutes away), very reasonable acommodations can be had. During December it's warm (60s-70s during the day), there's plenty of soft, quiet light that's easy to control, no snakes and no wind. What's not to like? I wouldn't disparage Charleston, either. It's lovely, but May through August there are a living hell of heat and humidity.Quote:
