Biography:

Soon to retire scientist: I have worked 40 years in ecology and wildlife, especially migratory birds (songbirds to eagles). I will be spending many days soon involved photography, writing, science, and books. I began J. Michael Meyers Photography in 2011 and hope to open by spring 2012. My goal is to make a difference in the world using photography and free lance writing especially in educating about natural resources - plants, animals, and habitats. I will us Nikon digital 35 mm, medium format film, and large format (4x5) film systems in my work. I am experimenting with many RF and SLR medium film formats now. I have about 5 medium format systems and just started in large format. I am having fun. It's great.
