sometimes you have to merge three or four technologies
to make up for the fact that you don't have a way to do things
the "right" way, but then again is there really a "right way" to begin with ?
made this this morning
and it will be the first of maybe a handful of strange things to come ...
i NEVER photograph in color so this is really
a treat .. doesn't help i am color blind as well
tried doing portraits like this the other day but my
figitty subjects moved so much that well, they came out pretty bad
if i had one of those national color stripping cameras .. much easier !
i have a bunch of b/w film rather than the gizmo
and seeing they can't be compiled together i probably won't
the last time i tried to do these it was an utter disaster
( like when the cow went dry )
but this time it worked like a charm, and i didn't even use the right filters
the device i used was not a film one, this was just a test
and severe burning of film will happen soonenough
i dont' print color, so i had to do a modernist approach
apugger mark anthony and his blog photo-utopia.com
gave me the inspiration to do this ..
