Found a Kodak Brownie 6-20E in an old wardrobe that had been thrown out at the back of the infamous Red Road Flats in Glasgow (where I was raised) at the age of 11 circa 1973. This eventually took me down a dark depressing road where I trained as a cameraman with Thames TV in London where I was lead camera on two BAFTA award winning programmes. Thirty-something years on I run two TV production companies and lecture part time in TV production and media law. - And I wish I was thirteen years old again and able to 'get away' with shooting freely on Glasgow Green with my Zenith 'E' - Two BAFTAS for lighting cameraman aside I'm mainly into 'Hybrid' work - shoot 645 and 6x7 B&W neg -mainly landscape - Dyed-in-the-wool Mamiya man!
Near Edinburgh - The Capital of SCOTLAND! - which ain't part of England!
