Just something funny
I know you have all had enough of these kinds of posts, but this ones just good for a laugh:
Under the first paragraph in "MATH" -
"Diffraction is accurately predicted by both ray and wave theory." - Ken Rockwell
I took this from wikipedia, but to anyone who received their degree in "engineering, mathematics or physics as I did, this is easy" - Ken Rockwell
"Ray theory does not describe phenomena such as interference and diffraction" - Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ray_(optics)
Great example reminding once more all of us not to take Ken Rockwell seriously. I also know this has been already said many times, but isn' t it sad that people can actually nowadays make loads of money disseminating totally wrong and misleading information on the web?
Thank you Nikanon for your post!
Just because Ken Rockwell is well know and has written books and articles for years, does not mean that he knows what he is talking about. It does mean that he knows how to make money writing about things of which he has little knowledge.
