I finally got around to consolidating all my flood lamps and flashbulbs. I still have enough left over to fill up 2 more of these huge Tupperware containers.
I have about 300 or so of the old style edison base 31, 11 and 2/2B bflashbulbs, any value in these, or should I just continue to use them?

(although I guess you could argue that it's not flashbulbs he's selling...)
Even if they had a market-value: You are not a dealer and you used to use them. Why not use them furthermore?

Do NOT give these away, I work in the movie industry and the prop master told me they pay around $5-7 per bulb... They went through about 1,000 that day alone.Quote:

My philosophy is don't throw nuttin' away. Ya never know. I recently bought a super-neat Minolta 16 "Spy" camera and it has a flasshbulb flash unit with it so I'll probably be buying some dinky little flash bulbs one of these days. I haven't bought a flash bulb since the late 1950s. I also recently bought a Heiland 64B "potato masher" strobe from the late 1950s to go with my 1960s Yashicamat. Guess what? The strobe works fine.
WHen everything goes to hell on the 21st and the planet goes dark, those bulbs and film stores will help document the end man.

I used 40 M5 flashblubls at a wedding this weekend. And I am always on the look out for more. If you're using them and like them, well keep using them. The have there own look to them that I do not feel a electronic flash can duplicate.
It still looks terrible! Just ship it to me.
