Post that shot in the gallery spot, Uncle Bill!
It's worth an entry.
Hurry up with tis assignment, folks: running out of time!
I'm spending some time scanning the latest stuff as well, to try and make at least one more entry.
This one is over. I was hoping for a few more entries...
Maybe I did set the sights too high with the difficult subject.
Doesn't matter, what is important is that we all had an opportunity to enter meaningful images.
I'm flat out at work at the moment, will post my choice and why on Saturday.
Then it's over to Barbara Ann for the May-June subject. I'm looking forward to that one.
OK, here we go:
I liked a lot the two entries from bertus, "typical dutch" and "small street".
And Barbara Ann's "where I live" also rang a bell close to home.
Sly's "the birding chair" is a lovely image, only missing some outside content to be the winner. If it had been facing the window or in a veranda, it'd have been the winner in my heart.
But Sly's "Millstone River, March" really brought home the "I want to go there and see THAT!" feeling.
So, it's now Sly's turn to pick a theme for the July-August assignment!
Barbara Ann, please stake the stage for the May-June assignnment.
Congratulations Sly, with this beautiful "Millstone River, March", it's really a great image!
OK folks. May/June are busy months for most of us, as we get our homes and gardens ready for summer. So, an easy to fulfill subject is in order. Thus I have chosen: WATER!
It comes in many forms and all are eligible. From rain to dewdrops to tears to rivers and oceans, water is literally everywhere! Let's see if we can come up with some unique photos with water as the primary subject. I'll try to post a couple of sample shots soon!
I was off at a family wedding and missed this announcement. Thanks nsouto. I'll put on my thinking cap for a new topic in a couple of months time, and take some more pictures of the river for barbara ann's topic.
