Why would anyone want to buy fleas?
Start a circus....
Fleas are a poor investment in today's market. I rent.
I would be very leary about purchasing fleas from a stranger in some unregualted open air bazaar. Many species can carry Bubonic Plague as well as various malaria type diseases. And if you are buying by the pound I would be very suspicous of any type of scale being used as these venues are rife with thieves and hucksters. Ask yourself, why are these fleas being sold for such a discounted price? What could be wrong with them?
Fleas can be purchased for scientific purchases from various scientific research companies who must meet stringent government standards as to the quality and health of fleas.
If you are at such an open air market and someone does approach you with a proposition to sell you fleas, just say no, turn around and walk away.

GROAN!!! (LOL)
Well, I met Jack yesterday. Great guy. Very laid back. No pretention at all. Which is refreshing since during the week I am around the "white glove set".
The best part was Jack showing me some of his work and showing me what he liked the best. It is always interesting to see what the photographer likes best vs. what you/the public/whatever like best. And vs. what is most often published.
It was also revealing to hear his views on digital. Since he works in chromes reproduction is not as cut and dry as a negative. Especially cost wise. Jack's work looks good when it is BIG. 20+" on a side big easily. His use of digital for output, but not input is very interesting. Especially when it comes to control of the process.
