Dry plates went out about 70 years ago. If you have an Antique camera that shot dry plates, you usually shim the back a bit and shoot with any more modern roll holder for a 4x5 back or even a polaroid 545 back as I have done... What are you trying to shoot?

Seems to me I read of an eastern or central European country, Russia perhaps, that was still making plates. It caught my attention; but not enough to buy any.

Scroll down to the second section where they talk about plates. I know they coat them. Not quite sure who carries them. Hunt around and you'll find them.
