Artist's Statement: China seems to be a current photographic hot spot. One could understand why with a civilization that has been around for over 5000 years. These images are from my most recent visit. They mark what will be one of the last small fishing villages near the ocean as the hoards of younger Chinese move outward pressing for space. |
Technical Information: While I work mainly with 8x10 and larger view cameras, these images were created with a Mamiya 7II and a mixture of Tri-X and Ilford HP-5 film. |
