Traditional Photography Portfolio by Gay Larson

  Artist's Statement:
Gay Larson has always had a love for photography but in 1991, Gay inherited an older manual Minolta camera that began a journey in photography that led to a passion and love of Black and White photography. As a self-taught photographer with numerous mentors and many workshops, Gay has developed her own style in black and white fine art. Gay works in the traditional manner, film-based, silver gelatin prints produced in her own darkroom. Gay firmly believes black and white fine art prints are at their finest when produced in the traditional manner. All of her images are printed on archival fiber-based photographic paper.
