Is it a good way to load a bottom-loading camera?
So I've sold old Kiev 4 AM with some transport issues and got myself a decent tripod head. I've started to use festival Zorki-S a bit often, which is a Leica II copy from FSU, bottom-loading design.
It's a Russian way to deal with things, but instead of cutting a long film leader, I'm cutting film flat. I'm able to place it in the right place starting a bit diagonally, metal spool first. It seems to work, it's easier, than cutting the leader. The film is not loose at any moment, so I see no risk of damaging the shutter, but I may be wrong. Is it safe for the camera? What's your opinion?
