This weekend (4/5/6 October) I assisted on my first photography workshop. It was based in the UK and concentrated on the use of Large Format cameras (with an emphasis on landscape and architecture). The weekend was a great success. There was a mixed bunch of participants, from advanced users to complete newcomers who did not own a LF camera. I feel that they not only got first rate advice, tuition and great locations but also the opportunity to share knowledge and advice in a laid back approach. Participants got to discuss technique, equipment all with great humour from the hosts! I'm sure I speak for all when I say that workshops are worth trying - you will get something out of it - as photographers, we learn something every time we take a picture.
