My wife has a colleague who lets out a cottage there and we're going down for a few days just after the August bank holiday. I'm expecting rain as it's so close to the bank holiday and, well, it's England. But you never know and the sun may shine.

What's the place like for photos? I'm particularly interested in cliffs, rocks, seascapes, rugged stuff, sunrises, sunsets etc. I don't want to do a lot of driving when I'm there, but I will travel to somewhere really impressive. Any ideas? I had a quick look on flickr but my stomach couldn't stand all the HDR 'experiments'.

Also, I'd love suggestions for a really good fish & chip shop!
You will be spoilt for choice, plenty of chip shops and Cornish Pasties to try, along with the local brews.

There's lots to photograph if you want to travel around. Land's End, St. Michael's Mount, Cape Cornwall, Porth Nanven (Cott-Valley), Godrevy and Gwithian etc spring to mind. I'm sure Bude has plenty to offer as well.

You might want to send fellow apug members Neil Souch and Bill Spears a PM for suggestions, both live in Cornwall.
