I have used one package of XTOL in the replenished mode for two years. That is a lot of staying power for a developer and it does keep the cost down.

I feel the 5 liter solution is to much for me, I´m not developing that much film.

Ah ... now there is the real problem. Get out there and shoot more film! Kodak, Ilford, Fuji, ... et al are depending on you!
