I bought one case each of the Kodak SM chemicals. This is as follows:
    Developer Cat. No. 175-6337 (6x2L)
    Bleach Cat. No. 882-4690 (2x2.7L)
    Fixer Cat. No. 846-2681 (2x3.9L)
    Rinse Cat. No. 192-5254 (12x1.5L)

Shipping was calculated by weight and the total cost of the chemicals and shipping was around $250. Assuming I use it one shot in my Jobo tanks (and I will until I do some control strip tests of reuse) that use 270mL for 6 sheets of 4x5, that comes out to 266 sheets at $0.94 per sheet. The alternative is the only lab left in Miami at $2.50 per sheet. This would use up all my developer, but not the other chemicals. The Formulary 1L kit is $45 after shipping to me. That is $2.50 per 4x5 sheet, but I could stretch it to $1.87 if I use 250mL per run rather than the recommended 270mL and single shot.

According to Kodak, the SM chemicals do not use a starter.

Did millions of people suddenly disappear? This may have an answer.
