VanTuil Photo, here in Erie, will make prints from a digital minilab that prints onto photo paper via a laser system similar to a laser printer then runs it through developer like a normal photo The results can be good; virtually indistinguishable from a traditional print if done well but their paper only goes up to 13 inches wide.

I'd love to print my own color transparencies but, for the amount of color I do and the amount of time it would take me to get up to speed on color printing, the cost is prohibitive, both in time and money. In the long run, it will be cheaper for me to have my color photos done elsewhere.
