Having sold my work in a few local auctions, I have discovered the thrill that comes with monitoring these events. I will be following these pieces in the days to come to compare their final selling point to the estimate. Kunsthaus Lempertz has announced a series of auctions, photography, modern art & contemporary art occurring December 1st through the 3rd. Most notable are works by Guillermo Kahlo, Recuerdo de México y Chapultepec (est. 20 000 - 25 000€)[/URL], Otto Steinert's, Die Bäume vor meinem Fenster II (est. 12 000€), and August Sander, Cologne and the Siebengebirge (est. 18 000 - 22 000€). Works by Henri Cartier-Bresson, Yousuf Karsh, Eadward Muybridge, and Janos Szasz will also appear.

Among the most interesting pieces is a lifesized photogram of a woman on a bicycle, Floris M. Neusüss, Rene Burri's Ronchamp, and Heinz Hajek-Halke's, Night-time metropolis.

The works of Nan Goldin, Pierre et Giles, Bernd and Hilla Becher are also appearing during the event along with many other deserving names.
