    well---I don't agree...not at all
    I guarantee that if you get a symmar or apo symmar 14" you will NOT regret it
    for coverage specs check the schneider data--they say apo(symmars) have more coverage--that's the manufacturer speaking...g claron coverages were at 1:1--so that is double the infinity coverage

    anyways--get the camera and you'll see....hey--they're both good lenses, just the symmars are better choice all around...flip a coin...or...got with the cheapest one you find....something like that....note I didn't say anything bad about the claron...good lens...just symmars are better, that's all

    oh--right--and I actually shoot 11x14 with this lens and others which are MUCH heavier--really your camera can take it if it's anywhere in usable condition...I know the camera you're getting--no worries on weight of anything that can fit on the lensboards for that camera--pick any lens you want that will fit on the stock board and you're set.
