thanks for replay Maybe smaller camera is the helpful - but looking Salgado and his Leica M's and R's, 645 camera ... - it must be also your stand and approach ... edit: or maybe it depends on which place you are? One thing is to do it in Africa, another in Europe / USA?

Krakow is full of tourist - you can shoot as much as you want, it is normal to see there a man with big camera .
Must see beside obvious places like castle and central square in old town in Krakow is Jewish district "Kazimierz".
