Well of course, it's "Sunny 16". That's when I use it-when it's sunny. No need to meter when I know the the conditions. On a very bright inland SoCal spring or fall day I close down 1/3 or 1/4 stop. On a smoggy summer day I seldom add exposure, because I usually want it to look the way it really does- a little dimmer and yellowish. I do use a digital device in my photographic pursuits when necessary.
When someone rags on me for using film, I use a middle digit, upraised.
