And just wanted to clarify that I don't think pictorial photography is a thing of the past. Many of the large format colour neg guys unashamedly use these classic devices today, just in a different context. Traditionally of course, it's very closely conected to landscape work. It's interesting how much amateur photography is criticised for being pictorial, when the real problem is the way it is applied and what it reveals.
