While I totally agree, the prices for some films have gone up so often and so much that the price alone threatens the survival. I'm thinking in particular of E6 films, pretty much all of them. (Which all mean Fuji now anyway.)

If they'd bring back Astia I'd pay more for it.

Acros is a remarkably inexpensive film in 120 compared to the competition from Kodak and Ilford. Given that, why it's about the most expensive black and white sheet film is a mystery.
