I print on Lodima. I have been told a stabilizer is good to ensure consistent results during printing.

Probably depends on where you live and if you notice your lights dimming a lot. The Chromegatrol uses a ferroresonant transformer and that is an inexpensive way to stabilize the voltage. You should be able to get an inexpensive, low wattage, voltage stabilizer for your 120v bulb. How many watts is it?
