The standard Lynkeioskop appears to be a Rapid Rectilinear configuration (http://www.lungov.com/wagner/c/104c.html). Wide angle versions of that type of lens are not uncommon.
Whitey, you linked to the serial list for Goerz American lenses. This one was made in Berlin, Germany.
It's a wide-angle rectlinear, and a pretty good one. Not knowing the focal length, I can't say what it covers.
