I have film from the 1930s through the 1990s and don't have any particular problem with it at all, except a stray roll that was poorly fixed way back when. I just printed a photo of a steam train engine from 1947 and the negative is just great. Of course there is little humidity out here in the desert. But the earlier negs suffered through years of Midwest hunidity and are okay.
