it's this kind of....what is the word?...is there a word for it?...not hypocracy...but it's not the fault of these people...there is nothing inherently wrong with it....it just strikes me as very non-genuine...

it's like people that only want something for a bargain don't deserve it because they are not willing to sacrifice for what they want.

"Deserve" is a very strong word. I'm willing to bet a large reason the vast majority of us can even afford to be in this hobby at all is because we've acquired gear at "bargain" prices at one time or another -- yourself included.
