You're a bit of a masochist -- we all are. If you wanted instant gratificatiion there's the Polaroid types and that other thing...Gidget, Didget, something like that. Would you be happy if you KNEW the photos you took were garbage? I once took a photo that I thought was a bit okay, but nothing to write home about. Fifty-some years later I realize my photo of a steam locamotive pouring out black smoke is pretty darn good, even though I took it with a Brownie Reflex box camera. One f stop, one shutter speed (1/30 sec.) and there is no camera or subject movement. And the composition is great. Maybe your photos are a bit better than you think. If not maybe the next batch will. At least they are on film that will last a few generations.
