Hello all. I'm selling some rangefinders today. This one is an early Olympus 35SP. Shutter fires at all speeds and appear accurate. Glass is clear with no coating marks or scratches. Shutter is clean and no oil. Meter and spot meter work, but I think are about 1 stop under. I can't read ev anyway.. Viewfinder is CLEAR and a pleasure to look through. Rangefinder patch is aligned and snaps smartly into focus. Focus is smoooooth. Battery compartment is clean. Film counter works.
Body has been recovered in black leatherette. It feels nice under the fingers in operation, though a touch on the smooth side. I used a handstrap.
Small issues that make this a user camera: Small marks here and there. Light engraving on back top - see picture. Filter ring has minor knick in threads but accepts 49mm filters with ease - no hang ups whatsoever. Front of lens beauty ring has minor scratch from apparent spanner wrench repair (?). Small impression in metal undereath film advance, you must hold in button underside to rewind film. Last, seals need replacing but I never had issues.
Just for fun I'll throw in a rubber Olympus lens hood, the kind with the metal screw set ring. Its in excellent/new condition.
It can be yours for $40 dollars plus $5.95 shipping CONUS. Paypal for the transaction is prefered.
I'm guessing at shipping here, so if its less I'll paypal you the difference. Let me know if you have any questions. Feel free to PM me. I do have a review of a past sale here on APUG plus extensive EBAY 100% positive feedback if that helps.
