Fuji film price has just been increased in the US a few months ago. 35mm Velvia 50 is now $8.59 per roll, up from around $6 in 2011 (according to my not so reliable memory). I would hate to see it up by another 25%, which means that the same Velvia will be sold at $10.74, almost doubling from a couple of years ago.
It should be japan only, since the yen fell quite a bit in value over the last year and they should recoup that. Silver has been constant and with the down-turn in the economy so should be the other raw materials.
