I used Fuji and Kodak Printing Press Proof System and made hundreds of 70x100 proofs. The CMYK films were colored and exposed with CMYK color separations. Every emulsion was transfered to a clear base, one on other and clear base transfered on to paper. Each step done with heat roller press. Does it too hard to make these colored heat sensitive emulsions ? Are they still being manufactured by Kodak ?
Is it possible to change gelatin with polyurethane ? May be it would be easier to coat the polyester base with colored polyurethane.
