The New Year’s workshop is different from any other. For one thing, we will drink, eat, and dance the night away at the Plaza de Catedral (bring your camera). We will spend a day traveling the back roads to Matanzas. We will work with Cuban photographers (okay, that part is the same). We’ll have a great all-around time (that part is the same, too).
Beyond all of that, this is a photography workshop where we will practice our skills at street photography.
The workshop is for all levels, beginners to advanced, 35mm to large format. Beginners will be given more instruction; advanced photographers will be given more freedom to explore on their own.
While there is a lot of walking scheduled, don’t worry. We always make allowance for those with tired feet, bad knees, or who just want to jump in a bubble taxi or bicycle taxi and take the long way home!
Participation is limited to 12 and the workshop is beginning to fill. If you want to be included please go to my NEW web site, www.anchellworkshops.com, and register. While you’re at it have a look at the video of Cuba on the front page – be patient, though, if might take a minute to load.
Dates: December 27 to January 4
