I&#39;ve used/owned a Gandolfi Traditional and found that I had no problems with movements using a 9 1/2" lens. Because the Traditional employs a sliding lensboard what you can&#39;t coax out of the bellows you get easily make up the difference by using the sliding lensboard. On the long end a 24" lens was no problem either. Again because of the Traditional&#39;s front standard design you can get an extra couple of inches by extending the standard past the front focus rail. All in all a great camera - it&#39;s unfortunate they&#39;ve recently had a price increase.
