If you buy online be careful to research the model. There are Baby Rolleis and some other TLRs that use size 127 film. You want to get one that uses readily available 120 film or 220. Various used Yashica TLRs seem to be a good value, but there are many unfamiliar Japanese brand used cameras available online. You might want to buy a cheapie to see if you really like seeing everything backward in the viewing screen before you buy a better quality camera for serious work. Better yet rent a TLR from a local camera store. The backward image bugs me. Upside down in a view camera is OK , but rightside up and backward is too weird for me.
