My hometown of Portlaoise is hosting The World Fleadh from the 6th to 12th August.

Sounds like an excellent idea.. Lots of colourful costumes at the afternoon céilís, and not to be overlooked.. there's Saturday afternoons Uileann Pipes Jnr solo's.. although some ear plugs might be required!
Hot House Flowers are on at 6pm.. they're fantastic live..
