Hi Darryl,
Get A Copy Of :
Using The View Camera, by Steve Simmons
That will start you off with the basics until you find
an instructor or mentor, check eBay sometimes
you can find a used copy for $5.00 - 10.00.

Thank you sir, I have it, but feel I need some hands-on instruction.
.
You're Welcome !
I'm floating in the same boat.
Until then: Practice, Practice, Practice !

Thank you sir. I'm thinking of reselling my 4x5 and getting a 5x7 and simply old-school contact printing.
.
I'm not that Olde ...
Ron, would be sufficient.
The view camera can be a harsh device.
Fortunately, as it is breaking us down, it is also building us up.
I creates a very strong photographic foundation.

I have a copy of the Steve Simmons book, and shot a ton of paper negs practicing, and feel fairly confident when shooting film. I agree with Ron, set up your rig and practice. Even if you dont shoot any film, set up some still life models and practice composition along with camera tilts and shifts.
You might want to sign up for our Vision and Technique Workshop. Next one will be in New Orleans, April 1-3 and after that in Bucks County, PA, May 27-29. Guaranteed you will learn all you will ever need to learn about view cameras and making contact prints.
And I am giving a talk in Atlanta on October 6 at the Carlos Museum, at Emory. 7 PM and it is free. I have an exhibition up at the museum--all contact prints.
